RAIG - WHITTINGTON'S BREWERY

Small brewery founded in 2001 with a 5-barrel plant, named after Dick Whittington who was born nearby. Production started in 2003. The brewery was very much an experiment initially concentrated on bottles for their shop and restaurant. Five barrels are produced each week are supplied mainly to Cellar Supplies in Cheltenham for the Gloucester area.

• Cat's Whiskers (OG 1038, ABV 4.5%)
  A bright medium-bodied bitter. Gloucestershire Beer of the Year in 2004.
