BATH ALES Special Pale Ale (H)
BATH ALES GEM (G)
BATH ALES Barnstormer (G)

Converted from three cottages in a row
of six, in a tiny hamlet between Bristol
and Bath, opposite an old flax mill on
the north bank of the Avon and now a
traditional village inn (circa 1846).
The pub is famed for its Bass on
gravity. The main bar has a log fire, a
curving wood and leather bar and is
popular with the locals. There is also a
lounge and restaurant area; each has a
distinct atmosphere. Good, home-prepared
food is served daily, and booking for
Sunday lunch is advisable. A house beer,
Morrells Firkin IPA (3,6%) is normally
available. Boules court available.
Children are welcome. There are a wide
range of good walks around the area.
