top of Walkley Hill on the Rodborough
and Minchinhampton road out of Stroud.
Part of the Pubmaster chain. Courtyard
at rear used for barbecues and live
music on Sunday lunchtimes which may
extend the opening time. The bar has a
1930 German built wood burning stove
which is due for refurbishment. Folk
night on Mondays. The pub has teams in
local Cribbage and Backgammon leagues.

Monday-Thursday in winter.
