This wonderful new venture is within a
16th century Grade II-listed horse
stable, set in the grounds of the Ship
Inn. A micropub with an impressive
wooden bar against thick stone walls
that sits opposite to a hugh fireplace.
The ever changing ales are served direct
from the barrel. Upstairs, the mezzanine
level is for darts, space invaders and
conversation. The garden and courtyard
are an enjoyable spot on warmer
evenings.

Excellent village local in a lovely
building complete with courtyard,
garden, fountain, herb garden and
renovated outbuildings. Recently
refurbished to reflect its nautical
history. Each of the two bars has a
welcoming real fire. A new restaurant
opened in 2006 on the completion of new
kitchens. B & B accommodation
available. Closed Mondays in the winter.
