Modern pub opened in 1985. Large single
storey building close to city's northern
bypass. Mock Victorian interior with
appropriate drapes, bookshelves, station
pillars and arches (date stamped 1986!).
Building itself constructed with bricks
from demolished Gloucester infirmary
(from Southgate Street - 1760). Being a
"Milestone Tavern" there is a heavy
emphasis on food. Families welcome.
