Originally built in around 1280, the
building opened as an inn in 1473 and
until 1999 had been in the same family
for 250 years. The pub has been
refurbished into a more modern style but
retains the multitude of little rooms
and alcoves. A function room that holds
around 60 was opened in 2006. Booking
advisable for Sunday lunch.
