ULEY Pig's Ear (H)
Excellent community local free house
dating from 1680, in an attractive
village setting. In this Guide for the
last eight years and in the same hands
for much longer. There are two distinct
bars, both with log fires. The owners
have preferred to concentrate on drink
so no food is sold. A full-sized
football pitch to the rear is owned by
the pub. The pub is a strong supporter
of local brewers and rare local outlet
for Uley beers. A warm welcome awaits.
