RAIG - HALFPENNY BREWERY

The Halfpenny brewery is to be found behind the Crown Inn in Lechlade. It is named after Lechlade's famous stone bridge that spans the River Thames, just a hundred yards from the brewery.
The Head Brewer, Graham Gerrard, has obtained vintage English oak barrels from Britain's remaining Master Cooper, Alastair Simms, in Devizes.
The only Gloucestershire brewery selling "traditional beer from the wood".
