The brewery tap for the Great Western
Brewery, owned by the same family that
has run this excellent free house for
many years. At least two Great Western
beers and at least one guest are
available. The three-roomed interior
comprises the main bar, a small snug,
and a conservatory/restaurant. Food is
served all day (until 2000 Sun). There
is also a skittle alley/function room, a
covered smoking area, an enclosed
child-safe beer garden and free Wi-Fi.
Has been in almost every edition of this
guide. Child friendly garden and
children welcome until 2030.
