Attractive 17th century stone built
village pub. There are two bars, a games
room with a skittle alley that is
available for hire. Old, restored water
wheel, in garden where stream flows
noisily. Varying range of Young's beer
and other guest beers. The pub is within
walking distance of the Roman Villa and
is thus on the path of many walkers and
ramblers. Excellent range of home-made
food, though not available on Sunday
evening.
