GUEST BEER Two Guest Ales (H)

This 300 year old Cotswold Free House
stands beside the only stretch of single
carriageway of the Gloucester to Swindon
trunk road. Much of the original pub
remains, although adjoining cottages
have been absorbed to create extra
rooms. The small bar, which is almost
hidden beyond a huge open fireplace,
overlooks a stone paved patio, garden
and meadows beyond, where cattle graze.
No muzak or machines here - just
conversation and the opportunity to
enjoy award-winning dishes at reasonable
prices. There are two en-suite guest
bedrooms. Beer festival in August. Good
