restaurant just off the A40. Large
pleasant garden complete with brook.
Built in 1068 the pub is mentioned in
the Doomsday Book and became a coaching
inn in the 17th century.

in good walking country. New management
in November 2012 have breathed new life
into the establishment. Good range of
home-cooked food available, including
